A Castle in NZ?!

Larnach Castle is New Zealand's only castle. It perches on a hill overlooking the magnificent Otago Harbour. Built from 1871, "Larnach Castle showcases master craftsmanship, New Zealand Antiques and the style of Victorian living."

The Otago gold rush left a legacy of ornate Victorian and Edwardian buildings, regarded as the best collection in the Southern Hemisphere. The Dunedin Railway Station is an outstanding example. After great coffee and a delicious brekkie at the Octagon we went to a charming market at the station bustling with locals. We then visited beautiful Knox Church.
